Our Access Rep aims to make sure that everyone from all backgrounds feels welcomed and comfortable at college, as well as increase diversity at the college for the next admissions cycle. Contact them if you have any concerns related to fitting in at college or if you feel the college can change something to help everyone feel more at home.

 

Many people coming to Oxford often feel like they won’t meet people from similar cultural or regional backgrounds, however, a lot of the time, this is not the case. Therefore, we’ll be organising DiversiTEAs as a recurring event during term time, so students of diverse backgrounds can take a break, have some snacks. This should be a chance to make new college friends. They’ll be particularly focused on students from REM and access backgrounds, but anyone is welcome. In addition to this, the Access Rep will be organising Diversity Formals, so look forward to these!
